Formula K is Edmonton's Indoor Go Kart Time Attack series, held at Speeders Indoor Karting on select Thursday evenings throughout the winter months. These laid back competitions are a great way to get started in time trial racing.

Rules are simple: you get three 10 lap heats per event to set your  fastest combined lap time! 

 

Combined lap time is calculated by adding your best lap time set during each heat together. Only your 2 best heats are used. 

 

*Combined lap times are used to equalize the differences between karts. 

​

Spots are limited, but all are welcome to come hangout and catch up with some familiar faces you've seen out at Stratotech and Rad Torque Raceway track days. The Venue has a full food & drink menu!

Round 1 - Speeders - November 16, 2023

Round 2 - Speeders - December 21, 2023

Round 3 - Speeders  - January 11, 2024

Round 4 - Speeders - February 8, 2024

7:30 pm - Arrival Time (Driver Check-in & Speeders Orientation)

8:00 pm - First Race

8:30 pm - Second Race

9:00 pm - Final Race + Awards After

*10 spots available per event. Registration fee Includes 3 private group races. Spots are non-refundable due to Speeders cancelation policy. Spots can be passed onto other drivers.

Championship

Attend 2 events to place in the seasonal Championship!

Championship standings are based off each drivers best 2 events. The combined lap time from each is added together to get a total. The lower the total the higher you place! Top 3 win a Formula K Championship trophy.
